Sequoia features a premium JBL Audio and Entertainment System starting with a 10-speaker AM/FM Cassette CD with Steering Wheel Audio Controls, 2 sets of Headphones, Rear Audio Controls, a Compact Disc Autochanger, Four-Channel Amplifier, Glass Imprinted Antenna, and a Rear Seat DVD Entertainment System.

Climate Control  

A big truck needs heavy duty climate control. Sequoia's automatic heating and cooling system combines 4-front and 6-rear vents to ensure ideal temperatures for every passenger. A standard Dual Zone A/C system provides rear passengers with their own temperature and fan controls.

Engine

Sequoia's 4.7L V-8, i-Force engine delivers a hi-tech balance of power and performance and comes standard with an Oil Cooler, Heavy Duty Battery, Starter, Alternator and Heater. Featuring Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i), the 32-Valve Dual Overhead Cam engine weighs in with 271 Horsepower and 313 pound-feet of torque.

Manifold & Torque

Long runners on Sequoia's intake manifold maximize low and mid-range torque, while VVT-i provides more horsepower, more torque and fewer emissions. It's an ideal engine that never quits, designed for city driving, off-road adventure, or pulling that extra load.

Transmission

Sequoia's advanced 5-speed automatic transmission comes equipped with a built-in cooler for those big loads and features finely tuned gear ratios and electronic control for responsive and ultra-smooth shifting.

Emissions

Advanced technologies like Direct Ignition and Sequential Multiport Electronic Fuel Injection work with Sequoia's tandem Catalytic Converters and large capacity Muffler to maximize combustion and minimize emissions.

Steering

At higher engine speeds, assistance is reduced, improving road feel and control.

Suspension

Avalon's finely tuned front suspension features gas-filled MacPherson struts, Coil Springs, and a Stabilizer Bar. Refined rear suspension delivers Multi-Link Control Arms, gas-filled MacPherson Struts, Coil Springs and a Stabilizer Bar. Together they provide tight control, exceptional stability and ultra-smooth cornering for an exceptional ride.

Tires

Avalon sees to every refined detail. P215/55 R17 tires with 17-inch Aluminum Alloy Wheels improve control, steering response and handling.
