For example, the spirited 4-cylinder 5-speed Automatic Camry LE raises the 'value' bar with standard features that include: 16-inch Wheels, Six-speaker CD Audio System, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Dual Colour-Keyed Power Outside Mirrors, Front and Rear Splash Guards, Tilt and Telescopic Steering, Cruise Control, Optitron Meters, AC with a Pollen Filter, ABS, Electronic Throttle Control and Seven Airbags. LE V6
The latest version of the LE V6 not only features a full-bodied 268 hp 3.5L engine with 6 speed Automatic Transmission and Sequential Multi-Mode Shifter, but now comes standard with Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Garage Door Opener, and Electrochromic Rear View Mirror with Digital Compass. The Moonroof Package with Power Moonroof, Dual Illuminated Mirrors and Rear Reading Lamps takes the LE a whole new level.

Set off from its stable mates by unique exterior and interior styling - including Front and Rear Underbody Spoilers, Side Rocker Panel Mouldings, Black Grille and Sport Fabric Front Seats with 8-way Power Adjust - Camry SE also distinguishes itself with its F1-inspired aerodynamics and road-gripping performance. Available with a choice of 5-speed Automatic or 5-speed Manual Transmission.

SE V6
The SE V6 packs all the goodies featured in the SE along with a more powerful 6-speed automatic, a Power Moonroof, Dual Illuminated Vanity Mirror, Rear Reading Lamps, Power Passenger Seat and Anti-Theft System among its standard features. The Leather and JBL Package adds Premium JBL Audio, Bluetooth & trade Capability, Leather Seat Surfaces and Heated Front Seats, while the Navigation Package includes a DVD-Based Navigation System, In Dash 4-Disc CD Changer, and 7.0 inch LCD Display.

XLE

Standard
Standard on LE and SE Models, an AM/FM/CD System with 6 Speakers and a 160-Watt 4-Channel Digital Amplifier. Front Seats
Camry's Front Seats provide an outstanding level of comfort and convenience with Low Hip Points and Long Seat Cushions. Standard on SE models, the LE V6, XLE V6 and Hybrid, and available on the LE: a Driver's Seat with 8-Way Power Adjust. The XLE V6 features Leather-Trimmed Seats [also available for other models].

Rear Seats
LE Models feature 60:40 Split-Fold Rear Seats. SE and Hybrid Models sport a Fold-Down Mid-Seat Armrest with Trunk-Through. The XLE boasts 40:20:40 Split and Recline Rear Seats. Camry's flat floor also provides more foot room.

From the 9.8 litre Glovebox and large Front Console - with two Cupholders, Side Pocket and Accessory Box with Hidden Accessory Socket and Auxiliary Terminal - to the 5.8 litre Rear Console Box, Camry offers up plenty of interior storage. The Trunk has enough room to accommodate four suitcases or four golf bags with an impressive .425 cubic metres [15 cu.ft.] of cargo space.

Transmission
Camry's V6 is mated to a lightweight Gated-shift 6-speed Automatic Transmission with Sequential Sport Shift Mode and a drivetrain that incorporates Artificial Intelligence Shift Control aiding and abetting Camry's smooth performance. It also incorporates Low-speed Lockup Control, Speed Reduction Shift Down Control and Flex Lockup Control, contributing to Camry's excellent fuel economy.

Engine

Transmission
Featuring a Gated-shift 5-position Shifter, Camry Hybrid utilizes an extremely advanced Continuously Variable Transmission [CVT] that blends the power from the gas engine and electric motor for surprisingly fast acceleration and breathtaking performance.

Handling

Up front, Camry employs a McPherson Strut Suspension. In the rear, Camry features a Dual Link Strut suspension that ensures excellent road-hugging performance. The Number 1 Arm Body Bushings are composed of small particle carbon material to ensure high rigidity [except for the SE]. The Number 2 Arm features Pillow Ball Bushings for enhanced ride comfort. On SE Models, a Rebound Spring in the Shock Absorber serves to reduce body roll and provide a more sporty feel to the ride.

AI Shift Control
Camry's V6 6-speed Transaxles features AI [Artificial Intelligence] Shift Control. AI automatically determines a shift pattern based on road conditions, vehicle conditions and the driver's intention as measured through the Driver Intention Support Control.

Sport Shift
Camry V6 also includes an "S" or "Sport" position on the Gated Shifter. This position enables the driver to control shift timing and tailor the driving experience to their particular driving style.

The sport-inspired Camry SE lives up to its promise by delivering sports car-like performance with minimal compromise in ride comfort. Borrowing from Toyota's F1 experience, the SE boasts a flattened underbody and rear floor cover for optimal downforce and front-to-rear balance enhancing stability at higher speeds. In addition, a sport-tuned suspension features stiffer springs, solid rear stabilizer bar, and a V-brace connecting the rear suspension tower with the floor cross member for greater rigidity and better handling. Performance-tuned Power Steering puts total control in the driver's hands.

Disc Brakes
Camry features large disc brakes - 11" Front and Rear - for confident, stable braking performance.

ABS
Standard on all models, Anti-Lock Brakes [ABS] with Brake Assist [BA] and Electronic Brake Distribution [EBD]. ABS anticipates then acts to help prevent wheel lock-up in emergency braking situations. BA increases braking power if the system determines the driver has not applied enough force for the situation. EBD distributes brake force to each wheel in accordance with road conditions and vehicle load. Together, Camry delivers advanced braking technology that helps you stop quickly and safely in emergency situations.

VSC/TRAC
Standard on SE, LE V6, XLE and Hybrid models [available on LE] is the next generation Vehicle Stability Control [VSC] and Traction Control [TRAC]. These ever-improving systems enable Camry to better anticipate wheel slip and then react in a more subtle, surer manner.

VDIM
Camry Hybrid offers additional braking performance with Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management [VDIM]. Utilizing a series of sensors, VDIM is capable of anticipating pending stability problems and automatically taking corrective measures - orchestrating the efforts of Camry Hybrid's numerous standard safety features, including: Electric Power Steering, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Brake Assist and ABS.

Impact-absorbing Body
Camry's impact-absorbing body efficiently and effectively channels impact energy around and away from the passenger cabin.

Airbags
Camry comes standard with a full complement of seven airbags, including: Front Dual-stage Airbags, Front Seat-side Mounted Airbags, Front and Rear Curtain Shield Airbags and a Driver's Knee Airbag.

Seatbelts
All seating positions feature 3-Point Lap and Shoulder Belts. Front Seats also boast Seatbelt Pre-Tensioners and Force Limiters. In the event of a collision, the Pre-Tensioner and Force Limiter remove slack from the Seatbelt, absorbing energy, and reducing the force placed by the Seatbelt on the occupant's chest.

Wil-Front Seats
Driver and front passenger seats feature Whiplash Injury Lessening Seats [WIL-seats]. In the event of collision, the seat structure works to help reduce impact to the neck area and to help prevent seats from tilting backwards.

Camry also features measures to help protect pedestrians. Specially constructed zones in the hood, fenders and cowl are designed to readily crush on impact, absorbing energy and helping to reduce potential injury.
