Our Lloydminster Dealership
Silverwood Toyota is a member of the UF3 Auto Group which is a subset of the Ulmer Auto Group.
The Ulmer Auto Group’s beginnings date back to 1941 in North Battleford Saskatchewan. Started by Joe Ulmer, Doug and Ross joined the business in 1974 and 1980 respectively. After Ulmer Chevrolet they opened Rainbow Toyota in 1986 and in 1987 they purchased the Chevrolet dealership in Lloydminster.
In 1993 Silverwood Toyota was opened in Lloydminster Saskatchewan. A modest 5500 sq. ft. facility next door to Ulmer Chevrolet and Ross Ulmer became the Dealer Principal.
In the fall of 2006 Silverwood Toyota expanded to the new and now current location on College Drive. In 2007 Danny Ulmer, son of Doug Ulmer joined Silverwood Toyota as the Assistant General Manager and then ran the store as the GM from 2013-2018.
In 2009 Silverwood Toyota expanded again by opening a second building which today services many of the dealerships in the Lloydminster area by detailing, installing protection packages, hood protection, tint, and paintless dent removal.
After Danny moved to Cochrane Alberta in 2018 Brian Dawson was hired as the General Manager and Partner in Silverwood Toyota.
Through many years of change, the Ulmer family has stayed a consistent reminder of family and community while instilling those values in the business. We at Silverwood Toyota strive to continue the family legacy.
